Apperances.png
Harald has, as he is often told by his Aunt Eyfla, inherited his father’s looks.
He’s slightly taller than the average Norn but isn’t imposingly large. His body is carved to suit a Huntsman as he has practiced his craft almost daily since he was 7 winters old.
Ink-sleeves made up primarily by cultural symbols and wolves hunting cover his arms.
His skin is fair but marked by the many winters spent outside. The dirt-blonde hair on his head is kept short at the sides and held back in a short tail at the top.
His chin’s hid behind a beard that’s slightly darker than the hair on the top of his head and thick as a wolf’s fur.

As he grew up without ever truly knowing his biological parents, Harald has always been curious about who he had been destined to take after. This is something that at times will make itself known through his otherwise focused fasade. Having spent most of his life as a Huntsman he’s most at home in the Wild and at his Uncle’s Homestead.
Harald isn’t hard to befriend, but neither is he hard to turn into an enemy. You either do right or you don’t is a mindset he’s fought hard to keep true to.

Historys.png
Harald was too young to remember when both his father and mother died, but he has been told about the event later in life by his Uncle, Baldr. It had been storming outside for days when some thugs had chosen to “release his family’s yaks from captivity.” As his father and mother had gone outside to deal with them they had been outnumbered and struck down.
2 days had passed before Baldr had arrived to the scene and found his brother and sister-in-law laying frozen outside, his hand reaching for hers.
Lucky for Harald, Baldr had heard his exhausted cries and chose to raise him as his own at his Homestead.

When he was 7 years old he made his first hunting trip alone. While out there Harald paid respect to his parents and also to spirit Wolf as he knew that they ran with his pack now. Meeting his expectations and killing a few thin rabbits, Harald had prepared to return to Baldr’s Homestead when he had heard a whimper. After a swift search he found the source of the sound beneath an uprooted oak.
It was the thinnest Wolf pup he had ever seen, its ribs almost bare he chose to risk the fury of his Uncle and threw the pup one of his rabbits. He made the rest of his journey home with one rabbit less but also with one lifelong friend more.

At 15 Harald had lived up to any expectations by his Uncle. He was true in his ways, an excellent huntsman for his age and had trained his wolf, with the creative name of Wolf, well.
So Baldr decided that it was time for them to finally avenge his brother and Harald’s father.
It was in the deep of night when the two had snuck up on the thugs as they rested in their ruin of a home. Baldr lit his torch and threw it in a wide arc above their heads, igniting the roof and as the thugs ran out they were pelted with arrows, and those who ran off were chased down by Wolf.

Justice had been served, or so Baldr told him. Harald wasn’t sure and he spent many nights working hard to convince himself that they had done the right thing, but he would forever be doubtful. The thugs were just the first of many kills in his life though, as from that night Harald began to help his Uncle clear out bandits and dredge that moved too close to his Homestead.

So Harald spent his time since hunting, mooting and protecting his Uncle’s homestead. Until recently when he felt that home had grown too small. He had to leave the safety of his Uncle’s reach and forge his own Legend for which he would be known by during the Hoelbrak moots. Having heard of a place called Amnoon and the kind of beasts said to be roaming there, he sat off without much hesitation to slay a beast and prove himself worthy of Legends.

As a seasoned Norn fan, this mighty Giant of the North looks valid for a great legend, so have the Jorund Wolfkin, the Wolf-Norn decreed! I hope to see your face some day in the future, and may your deeds be plenty and your legend be mighty!

Couldn't ask for a higher honor, was quite impressed when I read the other Norn profiles and realized how long Wolfkin's been around and I'm hoping to have half the content he has in here one day ;)
