Spoiler: Quick OOC noteShow

The smooth, even sounds of footsteps echoing down the hall could be heard. A tall, slim figure in a far more conservative uniform than her Larkspur sibling walks toward the entrance, sky blue eyes wandering about, as if she were looking for someone. Sighing softly at her unsuccessful search, she spots the violet-eyed girl. Leigh approaches Sequana and offers her a pleasant smile.

"Greetings. You...you seem lost? May I offer you any assistance?"

Hans stumbled out of the library, holding a book at his side, tightly. He made his way outside, gazing around the newcomers, perking his then brown eyebrows at the monkey-kid. He smiled faintly, adjusting his leather jacket, which seemed too big for him, as it covered the rear end of his black leather jeans.

The young apprentice gazes Leigh's way as she had previously surprised him. He didn't realize he had spent an entire day studying in the library, aiming for a head start at all the other surely determined students ! He ruffled his own medium sized brown hair. It seemed silky, and seemed rather odd for the teenager.

Lucas entered the courtyard the same way he entered every new place as a part of his new life - alone.

The boy of seventeen was the type that grew into himself quite well and quite early, already set with broad shoulders and semblance of lean muscle. He had long, dirty dark brown hair, curling slightly at the nape of his neck. For the most part, though, his 'do was hidden beneath a dark blue Captain's hat, a knock-off that he'd received some time ago. He was clad in drab clothing, a dark blue tunic and a pair of black trousers, wrapped around his waist not by a belt but by a length of cloth. In his bag was a set of training gear and his prized possession, an iron sword, with the pommel of the blade sticking out due to lack of room in the bag.

After the unfortunate events that transpired first with his family then the orphanage, he'd been shipped off to a monk to begin his Guardian training. However, that only covered religion and combat, and his tutors decided that in the pursuit of education, Lucas would attend the closest school to the Monestary and spent the rest of his time in training.

Icy blue eyes flickered across the campus, thin lips pursing together in contemplation. He wasn't quite a cynic, but he was as close to one as a sixteen year old got. Nothing could be worse then what he'd experienced before - right?

A ruler in hand, Tatiana gazed at all the students she passed with a critical eye as she walked through the halls with a quick gait, her heels tapping with every step. She had gone to the headmaster's office to pick up some books, and then decided to get to her class early. Already it seemed that she had a lot of work to do. These students were hardly prime and proper as the man had promised. "He had better pay me double for this," the woman muttered under her breath.

Seeing a boy clowning around, poking and teasing a kid smaller than him, Tatiana stuck the wall with the ruler near him enough to startle the child before glaring daggers at the student. "We will not have anyone horsing around like centaurs here," she said. "Get to class before the head master sends you home or I'll send you home personally," she growled. Panicked, the boy nodded quickly and ran off. She gazed at the smaller kid that was still cowering. "Chin up kid, you're not dead yet. Next time, strike him when he makes fun of you again, understand!" The smaller one nodded before he too, ran off.

Huffing, the woman adjusted her dress a bit before moving along. "Damn, didn't the man set up a bell system, when are these mongrels going to get to class, and clear the halls," she grumbled as she leaned against a tree in the courtyard, having changed her mind about getting to class. She'd have to see them all day after day anyway. The woman set her books and ruler down - which looked a little splintered from the impact before - on a bench near by before adjusting her auburn hair into a tight bun, and then sitting down to open on of the texts, but her emerald colored eyes seemed to lazily glance around, noticing a boy in the distance with a goofy looking hat. "Ugh..."

If it's alright, I'd rather play a teacher.

Gulmont’s eyes widen slightly as he is approached, letting out a feral, animalistic growl that sounds surprisingly close to a wolf, at least for a human to make. He climbs higher into the tree, looking down at Quirinus with his lips pulled back into a savage snarl.

He holds his twig like bow protectively to him; though without any arrows the weapon is seemingly quite useless. He appears to be either unwilling to speak or incapable of it, as all he does to respond to Quirinus is to make a low rumbling noise in the back of his throat.

Catching sigh of Lux, the boy goes a very dark red, the blush tinting the tips of his ears, for reasons that he’s not fully aware of. He becomes quite bashful, making himself as small as he can within the branches of the tree.

Lucas turned his gaze up to the teacher curiously, raising an eyebrow. "Everything alright, ma'am?" He asked slowly. His hat was not ridiculous; it was a small, navy blue cap with a golden trim and black visor. Pretty standard for a captain of a military or trade ship. He let his grip on his back loosen, the straps clinging to his unfurled fingers. He didn't really understand the reason for her scoffing, though in these few seconds he was almost certain that she was going to be the stereotypical 'I HATE CHILDREN' teacher.

"I'm new, sorry. Am I breaking a rule?" He glanced down to the pommel of his blade, realizing that maybe he wasn't supposed to have weapons on school grounds. He rocked his bag a bit, forcing the blade to fall all the way in; hidden from sight. No way he was going to give it up.

Sighing, the woman shook her head. "No, no. I just happen to think the hat is silly. Anyway, no hats in class. Just because you are new, does not mean that you are exempt from the rules. You had better read them." The woman then cursed, not quite caring if the kid head. "Did the head master give you a document with the rules listed in them? No, of course not. That man ought to be jailed for how drunk he remains, pompous idiot."

The woman shook her head and looked through her textbooks, pulling out a sheet of paper. "Here you are. Read them. Follow them. They are the law. Understand! Make sure your hat is off when you are in class. Be respectful towards whichever teacher you have, alright? I'd really rather not see one goofy cap after another." she said, blunt about her own opinion of the cap.

Ignored her quips about his hat, pinching the visor and pulling it off; stuffing it into his back. To be honest, he ignored most of what he said; not out of blatant disrespect, but mostly because she was rambling off about who and what she hated. He took the paper in hand, his eyes skimming along the basic rules of the institution. They seemed basically the same as every other set of school rules he ever read, all summed up by the same four words: 'don't be a jerk'.

He looked up to the teacher, nodding his head obediently. "Got it," He chimed. He offered a polite smile, stuffing one hand into his pocket and offering her the other one. "Lucas. Are you a teacher her?" He asked curiously. His skin was tanned, the same bronze look maintained by an Ascalonian/Krytan mix.

Spoiler: OOC NoteShow

As the other students starting meeting one another, a trio of two boys and a girl walked up to the compound, the girl and blonde haired boy talking loudest from the gates. The boy on the left on the group was far quieter, holding a book in his hand.

"Are we certain that the school would allow fireworks?"

The boy wore a light purple trench coat, black pants, low boots, and white glasses. He had dark blue hair and lavender eyes, quickly glancing around the courtyard. The next to speak up was the other boy.

"Probably not, but we could try anyway, Nick."

The blonde haired boy was taller and more physically built than Nick, with bright blue eyes and a constant arrogant grin. He wore a loose plain shirt and shorts to his knees, with simple sneaker shoes. The girl walking between them laughed.

"Jericho, come on! What're they gonna do if we just set them off and run? They wouldn't know."

Her brown hair was tied behind her head, making her light brown eyes clearly visible. She wore shorts just above her knees, boots that covered her shins, and a shirt with flames on it.

Nick sighs, "Mel, let's not get in trouble the first day regardless."

Mel turned her attention to the tree with the small crowd, as did Jericho. Nick simply walked past them, heading to his first class with his books. When Mel and Jericho approached, they stayed silent and stayed a few feet away.

Watching the boy read through the rules, the woman softened a little bit. At least he didn't scoff at the rules. And he managed not to talk back to her. That was certainly a plus, she figured. She looked down through the math textbook as she quietly formulated how to go about the first day of class. She then looked up towards him when he presented a question. "Ah, yes. I was hired this year by the head master. Really though, I owed him a favor, so now I am a teacher here. Just until the man hires someone else."

"You're new here too? What school did you go to before you came here," Tatiana asked, a little curious. She wondered if there was any training whatsoever in the pupils she'll be teaching.

((Sorry it's short...))
